Well we started out Trick-Or-Treat day by going to the doctor. This is Dr. Laura Gaeta that delivered our little Ashlyn. After I visited the doctor then the girls had to go to the doctor as well. Avery now weighs 20 pounds and Ashlyn was still at her birth weight of 6 pounds. We didn't take any pictures there because we were listening very hard to the doctor and having to watch little Avery get two shots. One in each leg. She was such a trooper though because she didn't even cry.
After our exciting morning we were able to watch the UT verses South Carolina game with Uncle Derick, Aunt Heidi, Jackson and Alexis via skype.
Avery was excited for a TOUCHDOWN TENNESSEE!
After eating supper it was nothing but excitement to do their first trick-or-treating. We usually don't do it but we wanted to go out and meet some people in our neighborhood. As soon as we heard "queremos Halloween" we knew the kids were there and it was time to get dressed and go out ourselves!
Here is the most adorable Batman with the prettiest little eyes!
Trying to get a picture of them together is always comical and somewhat frustrating. I don't remember the last time we had a really good picture of them both! The always laugh at each other!
Here is our little pink poodle! She liked the outfit at first and even tried to play the part.
Then she started slowly getting over it. And we hadn't even left the house yet.
We didn't get any pictures out on the street because Avery fell asleep on the second street and I had to carry her the entire way. Darin stayed in with Ashlyn so it was me with a sleeping pink poodle, a wild Batman and tons of mexican kids screaming at the top of their lungs!
QUEREMOS HALLOWEEN! (We want Halloween-translation is for you mom :)
Ashlyn was also knocked out when we got home.
Our precious pink poodle!
Batman is still wired and ready to dig in the candy!
Pink Poodle woke up........
And had a bit of an itch............
Then she noticed that she was still a poodle and wasn't very happy about it!
But then she was satisfied with a sucker. One of her favorite candies.
Here are a few things handed out. Some pork rind tasting things and some spicy chips. There were also suckers with chili powder on it and mostly everything spicy. Except the marshmallows. Cooper decided he like the candy we were handing out best. I think we were the only ones handing out chocolate. We were also handing out some gum which is Cooper's favorite.
Ashlyn also decided to wake up and join some of the fun and laughter about the hot candy! Cooper does try it and it always makes the entire family laugh!
I had a great night with my little pink poodle and Batman!
Thank you for always bringing laughter!
Also thanks Darin for watching our little sweet Ashlyn!
