Headed To Panama....

You would think that this would be an exciting trip but for some reason I just can't get excited about it. I don't know, maybe it is the 9 hour bus ride with two kids that I am not looking forward to. We have to leave the country and stay out of the country for 72 hours for visa stuff. So we are heading out tomorrow around noon and should reach our destination around 10 p.m. So I am asking you all for prayer during this time and also on Sunday as we are heading back that day. We know the Lord is good and just pray that Cooper and Avery will do great on this trip! Thanks for your prayers. They are truly greatly appreciated!

Here is just a funny little picture of Cooper for his grandparents. Don't think they would enjoy seeing an updated blog with no pictures of either of the grandkids!
Ok you read it, so get off here and Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Conversation with Cooper !

Just a few cute pictures of the kiddos, but now onto the story:

Tonight was such a funny conversation between Cooper and Darin. Cooper was telling Darin that he loved Daddy, Mommy, Avery and all of his cars. So I asked if he loved Jesus and he said no. Then asked where Jesus was. So hearing Darin trying to explain and then told Cooper that Jesus loves him. Cooper then said does Jesus give presents? So Darin said yes, he gives us lots of presents. Talking about his love and our life. Well Cooper then said, "I want another present." Kids are just so funny in the way they think. Sorry this is so short but I had to hurry and post it before I forgot how the conversation went.

Also, please pray for Avery who went to the doctor yesterday and has an upper respiratory infection and also for Cooper who I just found out tonight that a little girl in his class is at home throwing up. So please pray for quick healing for Avery and Kendall. Then for protection for Cooper that he won't get the sickness that is going around his class.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by going to the market and to play on the playground. Avery had so much fun on the slide and getting to "walk around", with holding onto my fingers of course.
Cooper loves playing at the park. Usually every Saturday all of his friends are there to play with him!
Avery thought this was so funny! Cooper is so sweet to his sister when other people are around.........
Avery is always looking to see where her brother is at and if he is watching her or not. She loves to hear him praise and congratulate. He is always cheering her on. It is so sweet to hear.
This is Cooper, Thomas and Micah. They all look like they are in trouble or something. I think they just didn't like having to stand still for a couple of seconds.
Cooper and Micah had such a great time. Cooper even got to go to Micah's house after the park. So Daddy, Avery and I got to go to McDonald's and to Price Mart (which is like a Sam's Club). It was definitely easier doing that without Cooper. Thanks Erin and Micah for letting him come and play.
Avery looked so cute in her little Valentine dress.
This is Cooper's new pose. I just really hope that we will get a normal picture of him soon. He wants to do this instead every time now.
Happy First Valentine's Day little Avery!
My sweet little kiddos!
It was overall a good Valentine's.
Thanks for treating me to some wonderful McDonald's. Avery definitely loved it.
Love you Darin, Cooper and Avery!

How Many Years???? No Way!!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary to you. Happy Anniversary to you. Happy Anniversary Nana and Papaw. Happy Anniversary to you! I know it isn't until tomorrow but wanted to be one of the first one's to tell you! Sorry Ang and Heidi, I guess I am the favorite la nuera (daughter-in-law), just kidding, just a chance to use one of my new vocabulary words!
We wish we could be there to celebrate with you!
Here are a few pictures Cooper has taking on skype. It is so hard that this will be the only pictures we have of our family pretty soon! You two still look great though.
You can see Cooper with the camera in the lower left hand corner taking the picture! He is too funny!
Well Happy Anniversary!
Thank you for being such a great influence on all of us. You both are a great example of a christ centered marriage. We are so blessed to have as parents, in-laws and grandparents!

They're Back At It Again!

These kids are so funny! Cooper's favorite thing is to feed Avery and her favorite thing is to get fed. She thinks anytime someone is eating something that she is suppose to have some. Which Cooper loves because he doesn't like to eat so he tries to act like he wants to share his food, but he really just doesn't want to eat it himself.
This time it is yogurt! Ice cream is her favorite but then right after that is plain yogurt.
This is after Cooper told her "no mas" and she does not like hearing that. She just wants to keep eating and never stop! It is so cute hearing Cooper use his spanish though and Avery actually understanding it.
So Cooper had to give in and give her some more. Sometimes he actually doesn't like to see her cry. About 80% of the time though he is the reason for her crying.
He thought it would be more fun to make a mess! He would just laugh after he put it all over her. Poor girl! She just wanted the yogurt. Not this way though.
Cooper wanted a mess on his face also. The boy just isn't right. He cracks me up all the time.
She sure does love her food. Even when it is all over her face she still looks so cute.
It is so neat how the little things can just put a smile on your face. Every child is such a blessing and we praise Him everyday for our WONDERFUL BLESSINGS!

Here is goes with the Letter "F".....

So Ginger is playing the letter game which is like chain blog where you get assigned a letter and then you have to think of 10 things to use with that letter that you like. You can see her blog to the left of mine which is "Days Go By" and also "Buhl Castle" has joined in on the fun. So maybe you can learn a little more about me and some more about my friends as well.
You would like to play along you can leave a comment saying that you would like to join in on the fun and I will assign you a letter. I think everyone that reads the blog that also blogs has already joined in, but just in case there is someone that hasn't got to do the letter game you can now join.

So Ginger assigned me with the letter F. So here are ten things that I like that start with the letter F.

I give praise and thanks everyday that I am a child of God the Father and have been Forgiven of my sins so that I may spent eternal life with him!!!!!

I have a very loving, Faithful and trustworthy husband.

I love my Family. They are such a blessing to me. My kids are pretty cute too :)

I could eat every meal of just French Fries. I know Ginger that isn't the healthiest meal but I just can't get away from them.

This one is going to sound awful but I think it is hilarious to watch people Fall. I could watch America's Funniest Videos all day of people just Falling.

One of my favorite seasons is Fall. I just love seeing all the colors and great weather.

I have been blessed with great Friends. They can be such an encouragement. Thanks to all my Friends. I really love you all.

I love to laugh. So therefore I love to be around people that are Funny! Especially Uncle D! He can always crack you up.

And the last one I can think of is Finding time to sleep. Anytime the kids close their eyes, I am right behind them trying to catch a quick cat nap as well. I love to sleep.

I hope you all enjoyed. Thanks Ginger for the fun little blog chain.

Some Randomness................And Updates...................

CAN YOU BELIEVE WE HAVE BEEN HERE ALMOST FOUR MONTHS??????
We have now had four weeks of school and all I can say is WOW!!!! There is never a day that goes by that they don't teach you at least 20 new things! We have been so busy. With school Monday thru Friday, mentoring every other Wednesday, church every Sunday, Darin has a bible study every Saturday and then I have a bible study every Wednesday. One thing we have learned while being here is that we CANNOT do it on our own. We have to be totally dependent on the Lord to get through everyday!
So here are some pictures so the grandparents can watch their beautiful grandkids growing!
The picture above is Avery and Lilian. Lilian and her family were also in Richmond with us. They now live right next door to us. Literally, right next door. We share a wall! Talk about close? We were so happy to know that they were going to be our neighbors here. Lilian is a great friend. She is easy enough to play with Avery and tough enough to play with Cooper!
Avery loves to play outside! I have to have at least one kid that will like to stay in the house with me!

She is such a pretty little girl!
Yes, Cooper is playing with "Avery's Christmas present." Even though she can't walk we got the stroller knowing Cooper wanted it. I think they should make boy strollers. Don't you think?
Just a picture to show Baga the cute boots that she got her. Her chunky little legs barely fit in them! But fashion hurts sometimes!
He is just so funny! He always makes us laugh!
Oh yeah, Avery went to the doctor Tuesday for her 9 month check up (even though she is over 10 months old) and she weighs 16.10 and is 70 centimeters. I know, who measures in centimeters? Costa Rica does! The doctor said he believes on the American chart though she would be considered 25% for her weight and 50% for her height!
Then Cooper's evaluation at school was pretty good except he doesn't like to sit still in the circle for discussion time and he isn't very good with the scissors. But with a 10 month out and an out of control son, he will not get much practice with those at home! Sorry Mrs. Pamela!
