Some Randomness................And Updates...................

CAN YOU BELIEVE WE HAVE BEEN HERE ALMOST FOUR MONTHS??????
We have now had four weeks of school and all I can say is WOW!!!! There is never a day that goes by that they don't teach you at least 20 new things! We have been so busy. With school Monday thru Friday, mentoring every other Wednesday, church every Sunday, Darin has a bible study every Saturday and then I have a bible study every Wednesday. One thing we have learned while being here is that we CANNOT do it on our own. We have to be totally dependent on the Lord to get through everyday!
So here are some pictures so the grandparents can watch their beautiful grandkids growing!
The picture above is Avery and Lilian. Lilian and her family were also in Richmond with us. They now live right next door to us. Literally, right next door. We share a wall! Talk about close? We were so happy to know that they were going to be our neighbors here. Lilian is a great friend. She is easy enough to play with Avery and tough enough to play with Cooper!
Avery loves to play outside! I have to have at least one kid that will like to stay in the house with me!

She is such a pretty little girl!
Yes, Cooper is playing with "Avery's Christmas present." Even though she can't walk we got the stroller knowing Cooper wanted it. I think they should make boy strollers. Don't you think?
Just a picture to show Baga the cute boots that she got her. Her chunky little legs barely fit in them! But fashion hurts sometimes!
He is just so funny! He always makes us laugh!
Oh yeah, Avery went to the doctor Tuesday for her 9 month check up (even though she is over 10 months old) and she weighs 16.10 and is 70 centimeters. I know, who measures in centimeters? Costa Rica does! The doctor said he believes on the American chart though she would be considered 25% for her weight and 50% for her height!
Then Cooper's evaluation at school was pretty good except he doesn't like to sit still in the circle for discussion time and he isn't very good with the scissors. But with a 10 month out and an out of control son, he will not get much practice with those at home! Sorry Mrs. Pamela!

Cooper and Avery,
Nana loves seeing you on your blog. I remember little Lillian from Richmond. I'm glad she is there to play with you. I love being outside too, Avery. If you were here we would just wrap up in our winter gear and go for a walk. It's really cold here this week. I converted your height and you are 23.62 inches tall. Cooper don't worry about the scissor thing. They can get you in big trouble...not unlike the crayon thing. Right Daddy. Love, Nana
