Our WonderFOUR Birthday Boy

This was Cooper on September 22! He was so tired to even realize it was his birthday! He didn't want to wake up this morning to go to school.
Until he heard us singing "Happy Birthday" to him and squinting he then saw his donuts had candles in them and that made all the excitement!
Here is our big on the way to school. He was so excited! The first thing he told the teacher when she opened the door to get him out of the car was, "It is my birthday today," he has never been so excited on birthdays past. This was the first year he also gave a list of toys that he wanted.
Here is Cooper after school. We decided to bring him a little treat that had all this powder stuff in it. Well, as you can tell it landed all over his shirt. So the birthday boy had to ride home without a shirt! You can see a little bit of the powder on his forehead. It literally was everywhere!
This is what Avery thought about Cooper having a birthday! Just another day for her!
This was Cooper's reaction to his present as we uncovered his eyes!
His FIRST bike! He was so excited. He has been wanting a bike for a while now, but we couldn't really get one in Costa Rica since we would be moving again. He had no idea that he would be getting it. It was so sweet to see his excitement.
He had to take it to the "backyard" to try it out some more!
He also had to get his SpiderMan piƱata in for a picture. Isn't it huge? This is the only size the make them here in Mexico. Actually or bigger!
I am not really sure if he is going to let anyone hit it at the party. He loves this thing.
Can you tell how much he loves it?
The night of his birthday we went to have tacos with the Haynes, Ostertags and Laura Smith. We were planning on taking some pictures but the pouring rain, the tree falling down, sparks flying and it taking us an hour to get home when it usually only takes 10 minutes.... we really just didn't think about it.
But he is having a party at his school on Thursday and this his birthday party Friday. So there will be more pictures to come!
